# Overview

As part of Olin's Quantitative Engineering Analysis (QEA) class, I designed a model boat in a two person team that satisfies specific specifications using only analytical approaches, only performing a final experiment to determine how successful our analysis-based approach was.

# Development

The development process included using simulation techniques in Mathematica to determine the viability of different hull shapes, numerous helper functions to facilitate building and rendering our system in Mathematica, and a number of structural simulations done in Solidworks to verify the viability of our physical construction plans.

# Results

As a result of our analysis, we wrote a Paper, and also constructed and tested a physical boat in a test rig. The code we developed is available in a Github repo.
